In November 2018 designer Amy Meier contacted David and asked him if he would be willing to help design a piece for her space in the 2nd annual Kips Bay Show House in West Palm Beach, FL. The concept was to create an art nouveau style fireplace mantle that focused on organic life forms native to the Palm Beach area. David’s signature leaves, frogs, turtles and crane were used on several pieces throughout the space. The pieces include a mantle with crane & taro leaves in the dining area, a steel daybed with frogs, turtles and a taro leaf canopy, and two steel lily-pad side tables with bronze turtles and frogs.

Together, these organizations serve over 18,000 children with programs and services that range from academics and athletics, to the visual and performing arts. Providing essential after school programs, these clubs help youth build skills, self-esteem and core values during critical periods of their growth.”
